Our family business is headed up by Peter, Rob and Laura (Father, Son & Daughter). It was incorporated in 1994 but started life 40+ years ago as Peter Watson Self Drive, part of what is now Peter Watson (Skipton) Limited.
Founder, Peter Watson started working for himself as a mechanic in 1964. After dabbling with car and van hire over the years, in 1994 Skipton Self Drive Limited was incorporated.
20 years later, the business moved from the Peter Watson site on Otley Road, to it's own bigger premises on Carleton Business Park, Skipton.
Today we have a fleet of 80+ vehicles ranging from small compact cars through to 4x4's and minibuses. We are a long standing United Rentals licensee and a member of the BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association).
We're very proud of how the business has grown and continues it's success as an independant, family run business in Skipton.
